Weed Delivery Minimum Order: How Much You Need to Spend
A weed delivery minimum order is the cart total a dispensary requires before sending a driver. Most US shops set it between $20 and $50.
There is no single US answer. Cannabis delivery is legal where a state licenses it. It is illegal where the state has no program or bans delivery. Your address decides, not your search query.

California allows licensed delivery statewide. A licensed California retailer can deliver to most addresses, even in cities without storefronts, unless the city bans delivery. New York, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Illinois license delivery or allow dispensaries to deliver. Colorado started medical delivery in 2021 and added recreational delivery after. Florida permits medical cannabis delivery from licensed treatment centers, not recreational.
Some states with medical programs limit delivery to registered patients. Others allow no delivery at all. A few states, like Idaho and Kansas, have no medical or recreational program. Delivery there is a crime.
Cannabis is Schedule I under the Controlled Substances Act. Federal agents can enforce that law. Since 2014, Congress has renewed a budget rider that blocks the Department of Justice from spending funds to stop states from carrying out medical cannabis programs. That rider covers medical programs. It does not protect recreational sales or delivery.
The US Postal Service lists cannabis as nonmailable. UPS and FedEx also refuse cannabis shipments. A package of flower sent by mail crosses a federal line.
The 2018 Farm Bill made hemp with 0.3% delta-9 THC or less legal at the federal level. Hemp THC products ship online in many states. Several states banned or capped intoxicating hemp compounds, including delta-8 THC. Check state law before you order.
Search your state regulator plus delivery plus your city name. If the state has no licensed program, delivery is not legal. If it does, check the local ban list and the license.
