  5. Dip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol and wipe both contacts.
  6. Wait two minutes for the alcohol to flash off.
  7. Thread the cart on until it just stops. Do not force it. Overtightening pushes the battery pin down and out of reach.
  8. Press the button once. A solid light means the fault is cleared.
  9. Draw at a slow, steady pace if the light stays solid.
  10. Unscrew the cart a quarter turn and press again if the blinking continues.

Test the Battery and the Cart Separately

Swapping parts tells you which half failed. You cannot diagnose a blinking light with one cart and one battery in hand.

When the Cart Is the Problem
